Mood Board Monday 2.25.2019

More like moody Monday. I have a 10 month old at home, and he's ordinarily a dream baby. BUT, he's teething, which means he woke up 4 times last night. Can I call in tired? The inability to call in sick is one of the drawbacks to being a small business owner. There's no one to cover me while I'm down. But it also allows for a bit more flexibility in the mornings (no morning commute, holla!) so instead of waking up early and going through my routine, I slept in and am muddling through the day. Life is about balance after all.

Since I'm tired - let's cut to the chase. Today's mood board is all about making me happy and taking my mind off my sweet sweet pillowcase.

Soothing, refreshing, energizing. Kind of like a walk on the beach.

See? Happy! I love pink, to me pink (even these softer hues) is energizing. I pulled these soft pinks together because I wanted some energy, but I didn't want to exhaust myself as some bolder hues and patterns can easily do.

Also can we talk about these cacti?

They look like a watercolor painting! I mean, are they even real? Regardless, I love them. Those sweet pastel hues the pinks, blues and greens set against that off white stucco wall. I love this whole image!

This is also nice and sunny, something that we haven't seen in Virginia in (what feels like) 6 years. Today is the first time we've had sunshine after over a week of almost constant rain.

If you know me personally, you know that I am 100% solar powered, so I've been dragging! Hopefully the sun will stick around long enough to charge my batteries up again!
